Hello, as I have posted twice now I thought I better introduce myself.

My names Drew, 29 from Barton, Manchester.

First heard "Everything is You" on Parkinson's Radio 2 show by chance whilst driving one fine day. Turned the volume up really loud and at the end discovered it was by none other than Clare Teal, which is a good job otherwise I would be on the wrong forum. As soon as I got home downloaded Don't Talk from iTunes and have been a fan since.

First saw Clare live last Friday, which was great.

Like a mixed bag of music from Jamie Cullum, Diana Krall, Devine Comedy, Puppini Sisters all the way to Green Day, Bis, My Chemical Romance. Jazz tends to be on the ipod the most though.

Not sure what else to say so I will leave it at that for now......

Hello, and welcome! I believe I was also introduced to Clare by the Parkinson show, only it was Messin' With Fire with me! I think that must have been around the release of Don't Talk. I miss that radio programme - it used to be my favourite on radio 2.
I've also only seen Clare live once, but it was nearly three years ago now. I'm still waiting for another Glasgow gig!

Hi,

I first saw Clare a couple of years ago at the Pigalle Club, and so was delighted when I saw she was coming to Ronnie Scotts. The journey to Ronnies took two hours on the 53 bus! - just jogging along (stop start) past sunday road works and more road works. We only just made it before Clare came on stage, but as luck would have it we got two of the best seats, right in the front and central stage. We had budgeted ourselves one beer each, but hey I was so entranced with Clare and the whole performance i barely noticed my beer!
My only gripe was that I really wanted a 'get happy' tea towel. Any info on how i can get one would be great.

Ayl

Hi Ayl,

We were there on the Sunday too - the table of 6 a little behind you!

Welcome to the forum.

Tea(l) towels are only available when puchasing 2 cds at the moment but there will be a new shop when the new website is up and running (very soon now) so other products may be available then - will keep the forum informed.

Let us know when you are going to another gig!
