I'm a big fan of your music,and jazz in general. I also play jazz guitar, and was wondering rather cheekily where/how you hire your musicians. I have been playing semi professionally since 1996-in trios, duos and bands, mostly jazz. I have worked with people like Tony Woods (sax) and done a jam session at the london jazz festival with guitarist Deirdre Cartwright (back in 2003 I think!) and singer Nette Robinson. I was a semi finalist in the young jazz musician of the year (going back even further- I think that was 1997 !)
Since then, I have continue to play and teach Jazz guitar in and around the south east. I love comping with singers, and adding in a subtle solo or two.
Would you be in need of a guitarist in the future?-I know this is a really cheeky way of contacting and asking, but one never knows!
