Well, obviously Clare has no potential rivals at the moment! She and the band are up to their ears, eyes and whatever in music at the moment, rehearsing for the new show, so there won't be a blog this week but one is promised for next week. They are having a great time being back together again after the break, with a few very long days rehearsing, recording and then refining to give us a brilliant new show starting tomorrow in Epsom but then going all over the country, with trips to Scotland, Wales, the north, east, west and south of England between now and the end of the year, with many more dates to be announced. Some new gags have been announced too...............

Ok Sue what a week to throw that at us, where do we begin....
B&V are otherwise disguised as intrepid explorers in the Amazon rain forest. Having booked a cruise to the caribbean and Brazil, we are in hot (95 degrees) sunshine and as we speak we're riding along on the great Amazon river.
This being a rain forest guess what - it does rain too and we mean rain! One minute sunshine and the next your drenched to the skin. But we don't care we're intrepid explorers! We been trekking through the jungle with a machette in hand, dressed like Indiana Jones and smelling of deet and having weird dreams curtesy of our anti maleria drugs.
Today V got to cuddle a sloth and had a toucan on her shoulder. Not the average Wednesday afternoon! Tomorrow is carnival day in Brazil so with Samba whistle in hand we'll party like it's a Clare gig!
We've managed to avoid the piranhas, giant ants and other poisionous crawlies but we have Caymans to come so we do hope to get back to see the new show soon!
